There was something so special about walking into Gabby and Jordan’s wedding day as everyone at the Georgia Freight Depot wedding venue was bustling around getting ready. The first thing we heard was the soundtrack from Phantom of the Opera (one of my personal faves) as Gabby who was sitting by the windows belted the lyrics like she belonged on Broadway. I got chills. I got goosebumps. I started singing along as I dropped our equipment and got ready to shoot details. The was light in the room filling everyone with so much excitement and joy for the day ahead.
As wedding photographers we have a rhythm of our own when we start off with detail shots and getting ready shots but one thing that stood out to us was how calm everyone was. How kind and welcoming. It made our rhythm that much smoother giving us and the videographers room to be creative and have fun.
Gabby and Jordan’s love was incredibly palpable as Martine and I bounced back and forth between the two rooms where they were getting ready. Each one was buzzing with energy, anxious for their first look. Oh and was it a magical one! Every moment we captured reflected so beautifully everything sweet and kind about these two and we were incredibly honored to have been a part of it! My favorite moment however was their first dance. You have to scroll down to see how magical and choreographed their first dance as husband and wife was, straight from a Disney movie it was. From their beautiful Jewish ceremony at Georgia Tech‘s Brittan Hall to their exit underneath the Atlanta night lights everything about this wedding was planned out to reflect the wonderful love story Gabby and Jordan share.
